Her stunning hole-in-one during today’s third round of the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open has won Jenny Haglund both international acclaim and a Genesis G80 luxury sedan.
Haglund aced the 144m par-three 14th hole at Kooyonga Golf Club to, momentarily at least, upstage the stellar field of the world’s best golfers in front of an excited gallery and worldwide television audience.
As one of the most prestigious and historic events on the PGA TOUR the Genesis Open has once again attracted a stellar field to California though it was the lesser lights that shone on day one in 2018.
While Australia’s top professional golfers have spent the past fortnight competing in the nation’s two premier golf events, Australia’s leading club golfers teed it up in the final of the world’s largest amateur golf competition – the Genesis Golf Link Cup.
16 National Finalists from around Australia will play at New South Wales Golf Club on the 24th November with the winner crowned the 2017 Genesis Golf Link Cup National Champion. Follow the live leaderboard here.
